On 12/20/2010, I witnessed a total lunar eclipse. It was a breath-taking sight. It is a phenomenal and rare total lunar eclipse which occurs for the first time in 456 years.1.5 billion people worldwide watched the eclipse. The eclipse started at 11:40p.m.(Pacific Time)and ended at 4:00a.m.It looked like a shiny, diamond ring with a dark red handle at 2:00 a.m.At first, it was a full moon. Then, it slowly decreased. Finally, it came back to a red full moon. I am glad I witnessed my very first lunar eclipse.
