22 Powerful Habits to Bring into 2022

As we draw closer to the end of another transitional and yet memorable year, I wanted to share with you all some helpful habits that will change your life in the new year!

  1. Set clear boundaries ---- You are allowed to say no to anything and anyone that that doesn't serve you

  2. Meditating ---- It is a way to achieve a clear and calm state. It helps you center yourself in the present moment

  3. Set time for yourself every day It is good because it allows your mind a chance to rest and rediscover yourself

  4. Start journaling your thoughts and/or ideas ---- It allows you to organize your thoughts and gain clarity about yourself, your life

  5. Get some sunshine every day ---- whether its a walk outside or a picnic in the park it's good to get some good old Vitamin D

  6. Drink more water ---- Enough said

  7. Declutter your space often ---- It allows you to take control of your space and concentrate better

  8. Make time to connect with your friends - new and old ---- As life goes by and gets busier and busier, it's important to check in with those you care about

  9. Practice daily gratitude ---- There is so much to be grateful for in life. In a world that tries to make you feel bad about what you don't have, its good to reflect on the joys of what you do have

  10. Doing more spontaneous things ---- You only have one life, might as well spice it up a little

  11. Be mindful and reflect often on yourself ---- It allows you to become more self-aware and understand yourself better

  12. Invest time in your hobbies --- Be it singing, dancing, art, or juggling, investing in your hobbies is good for reducing stress and building skills

  13. Meal plan in advance ---- Meal planning allows you to eat healthier, and save the time and stress that comes with deciding what to eat

  14. Track your spending and create a financial plan ---- It will allow you make better financial decisions and make the most of your assets

  15. Take breaks from your computer ----- It is good to stretch your body and rest your eyes, we spend so much time online after all

  16. Focus on what you CAN control ---- It's so easy to get caught up in the chaos of what has been happening around us, but sometimes it can be empowering to just focus on what's in our reach.

  17. Go on a regular social media detox ----- Everyone needs to do this once in a while, it's good to take a break from everyone's highlight reels and opinions and focus on your life for once.

  18. Get up earlier in the day ----- You will have so much more time to achieve your dreams and get started with your day

  19. Prepare your things the night before ----- It saves you a lot of morning rush stress

  20. Follow Pareto's principle - Focus on the 20% of the tasks that will yield you 80% of the results

  21. Create a morning ritual ------ It sets the tone for the day and sets you up for sucess

  22. Do one task at a time - be a single tasker ----- It's more productive and less stressful! You will concentrate better.
