Hi everyone, it has been a long while for sure. A lot has happened societally, economically, and some of us even personally since I've last posted. I would like to dedicate this post to my late grandfather, Subramanian Ventrakaraman, whose spirit and outlook on life continue to live on with all of us. My grandfather was a man of profound character and (stature lol) and his loss is truly one that affects me. I will never forget how he has touched my life.
Who was Subramanian Venkataraman?
Subramanian Venkataraman was a man of principle, discipline, and courage. He was a strong and independent man, and he never took no for an answer. He was a business-minded man who always looked towards the next venture. He always encouraged me to be my best and pursue my various passions, like my nonprofit or YouTube channel. My grandpa always loved to ride mopeds; I have many early memories riding with him on his motorcycles through the busy streets of Madras, wind, and sand in my face as I held on tight to him. He was a man of humor, he was always one to crack the funniest of jokes, and I definitely see where I get my sense of humor from. He was always thoughtful and cared about the wellbeing of everyone around him. He would always ask how I was doing and do his best to help me solve the problem or issue at hand. Nonetheless, I have learned so many life lessons from him and I am so lucky to have had him in my life. I will miss him and love him always.
Until next time,
~Vaishna. <3
