Hi everybody! I'm back in the states! (Sorry for the delay, I was busy fighting jet lag:>)Anyways, here's your next post!( Oh, P.S., I'm going camping in one or two weeks, so that will be your next post's topic) :-
Toys are what you call a child's play thing. Believe it or not, they've been around for thousands of years. They are crafted in special ways so that they can be both fun and educational. All of you must have played with toys when you were little. The root of the word "toy" is unknown but it is said to have been first used in the 1300's.
According to my research, one of the earliest uses of toys was during the Indus valley civilization. Some toys include small carts, whistles shaped like birds, and monkeys that could slide down a string. Ancient toys were made from things like rocks, sticks, and clay.
Now in modern times, kids are mostly into video gaming, which is affecting the use of other types of games such as board games. But once in a while, it's nice to sit down, and use brain power to defeat your opponents. The materials used in toys may have changed, but the fact that children play with toys won't change and never will.
